A modern acoustic mixer type MX-6A has 5 microphone-line channels and 1 universal channel (Line-CD). The microphone-line channel has: symmetrical microphone input (XLR socket), phantom power on/off, symmetrical line input (Jack socket), high and low tones timbre control, input gain and sensitivity control. The universal channel has an asymmetrical Line/CD input (Cinch sockets for L and R channels) and an asymmetrical line input (Jack socket), adjustable input sensitivity, adjustable high and low tones and gain. All input channels have a signal level and clipping indicator. The mixer has a master channel with a three-point tone control (treble, alt, bass) and gain control, a symmetrical output adjustable in the range from -20 dB to 0 dB (XLR socket) enabling the mixer to be connected to the microphone input as well as to the line level input. The MX-6A mixer is equipped with a headphone jack with volume control and a 10-point level LED indicator.
